Assessment Methods
The following assessment methods shall be employed for assessment in this module.
Test of underpinning knowledge (if required) shall be done through online written or oral examinations. The examination process of each candidate shall be recorded by Orpacific secure online examination tool, and forms part of the Certification Digital Portfolio which is available both online and in a DVD.
The key performance criteria of the module will be assessed via a set of problems/projects which a candidate has to solve, and then delivered the solution in a presentation. In situation where a demonstration is necessary, student will record the demonstration in a realistic environment. He will subsequently explain the details of the demonstration in a presentation. Proceedings of the demonstrations shall be recorded as secured multimedia presentation sessions by Orpacific secure multimedia recording tool, and organized as a portfolio for assessment. A candidate shall only be certified competent if he/she shows evidence through the multimedia recordings that all the performance criteria as listed in this competency standard are executed with competence. The submitted portfolio together with the assessor's comments shall form part of the Certification Digital Portfolio which is available both online and in a DVD.
Note 1: Test of underpinning knowledge is comprehensive and will cover all sections listed in the competency standard. Demonstration of performance criteria listed in this competency standard is exhaustive, and candidate must demonstrate competence in each and every of the performance criteria.
Note 2: All multimedia recordings, serving as evidence of the candidate's process of achieving shall be collated into the Certification Digital Portfolio DVD and shall form an integral part of the Certification documentation.
