Bachelor of Arts (China Culture and Business)
(中国经济、文化学士)

The Bachelor of Arts (China Culture and Business) program is designed to give the candidate an indepth understanding of Chinese language and culture, together with an understanding of the Chinese business environment.
中国经济和文化学士学位课程目的是让学生深入理解中国的语言和文化，同时对中国的经济环境有相当的了解和认识。

The programme consists of four main sections. The first section is dedicated to history where students are introduced to the general history of China, Chinese culture and literature. The second section is dedicated to the chinese language; writing skill, grammar, and rhetoric study. There is also a module on business mandarin to prepare students for the business study section of the program. The third section covers the main topics in doing business in China, namely the legal, taxation and human resources systems. The fourth section consists of special topics examining the various interesting aspects of doing business in China.
这个学位课程项目包含四个部分。第一部分集中在历史方面，介绍中国发展历史以及中国文化和文字的演变历史。第二部分主要讲述中国语言，包括写作技巧、语法和修辞学等。这个部分里还专门有一门关于商务中文的课程，帮助学生为第三部分商务方面课程的学习作准备。第三部分的课程涵盖了在中国经商涉及到的法律、税务和人力资源等领域。第四个部分包括一系列关于如何更有效的在中国经商的专题性研讨。

There is also a graduation thesis and presentation.
学位课程还包括一个毕业论文和论文演讲。

Assessments in most of the courses will be continuous in nature. Each module is divided into various sections. At the end of each section, candidates will be set problems in which they will have to do some analysis to come up with a solution. In the case of history and language, it will be in the form of reflections, and analysis. Students will then have to prepare a presentation of their solutions or reflections using Orpacific multimedia recording tools. These recording will be uploaded to the students' portfolio portal for assessment. The sets of portfolio of each candidate, at the conclusion of the entire programme, shall be organized into a Personal Graduating Digital Portfolio DVD, and this DVD shall be an integral part of the degree scroll.
大部分课程在进行当中，会伴随有多次测验。一门课程会分成多个小节，每个小节结束时，学生被要求利用所学，通过进一步分析解决一些问题。如果是历史和语言课程，这些问题将会更多偏向于反思分析和评价的类型。学生通过Orpacific 的多媒体录制软件工具，进行演讲。陈述观点。演讲录之下来以后会被上传到学生自己的线上作业专辑里。在学业结束时，这些作业专辑会被整理刻录成学生的个人毕业成绩专辑DVD,作为体现学生学习效果的有效方式和载体，成为学生毕业文凭的有机部分。

Many of the modules above are available in Orpacific certificate programs. The modules in the certificate programs available to students in two forms. In the first form, a student attends all lessons of the module but do not present himself/herslef for assessment. In this case, the student will receive a Certificate of Attendance for the enrolled module upon completion of the module. In the second form a student attends all lessons of the module and presents himself/herself for assessment. Upon successfully satisfying all performance criteria of the competency standard of the module, the student will be awarded a Certificate of Attainment for the module. A Certificate of Attainment is accompanied by a PGDP DVD.
上面的大部分课程同样也是Orpacific的证书课程项目的一部分。 学生可以以两种方式学习证书项目里的课程。第一种方式里，学生不必完成作业，课程结束时，学生拿到就学证书。第二种方式里，学生必须参加课程里的各个考试和测验，课程结束并各项考核满足要求后，学生会得到结业证书和由学生的作业考核报告和演讲制作成的个人毕业成绩专辑DVD。

Certificates of Attainment are recognised as equivalent replacement for the similar module in the BA (China Culture and Business) degree.
一门课程如果获得结业证书，就可以在中国经济和文化学士学位项目里免修类似课程。

Language of Instruction (授课语言)
The main language for lectures and examination is Mandarin. .
主要的授课语言是普通话。

Recordings in the projects must be done in Mandarin. This version will be assessed. Comments on the submitted portfolio are in Mandarin. Candidate are however encouraged to re-record the portfolio in another language such as English.The second language version will be formally assessed. Both the original Mandarin version and the version in a second language will be included in the candidate's PGDP, with a notice that the Mandarin version is the version formally assessed.
学生的作业和演讲录制必须使用普通话，打分是基于普通话版本的。老师的评语同样是普通话。但是我们也鼓励学生用第二种语言，比如说英语再录制一次。两个语言版本的录制都会被制作到学生的个人毕业成绩专辑DVD，同时会注明普通话版本是评分版本。

Entry Requirement ( 入学要求)
Minimum entry requirements

• at least two A Level passes, of which one must be a subject conducted and examined in Chinese.
• 最少两门成绩为A,而且其中一门必须是以中文授课和考试的。

Mature Student Entry Route
成人学生入学要求

• Normally over age 25
• No academic qualifications required
• Candidate will be assessed prior to admission. Candidate without sufficent Chinese language background will be required to attend foundation courses.

• 没有学位要求?
• 参加入学录取考试，中文基础不好的学生要参加基础语言课程

Period of Candidature ( 学习时间)
Minimum period: 2.5 years
Maximum period: 7 years
最短：两年半
最长：七年

Course Computer Requirements ( 计算机要求)
As most of the lessons in each of the modules are delivered online in virtual classrooms, and also the candidates are expected to record multimedia presentation and demonstration of put of the portfolio assessment approach of the University, all students of the program are expected to regular access to a computer that meet the following minimum requirements.

• PC, P4 1.6GHz, 1G RAM, a good quality webcam, writing tablet, and a microphone, and running MS Windows XP or later operating system.
• Internet access.

大部分课程都是在网上虚拟教室进行，而且在作业和考试中，学生也被要求进行多媒体录制，所以学生最好有自己的计算机。计算机的最低要求如下：

• PC, P4 1.6GHz, 1G 内存, 配备比较好的摄像头, 写字板, 麦克风,  最低Windows XP 操作系统.
• 能访问无联网.

This is an all in fee; including all lessons, online notes, project supervision fee, examinations (two attempts), registration fee, but excludes textbooks.
这个费用包括所有的讲课，在线讲义，项目作业指导，考试（包括一次补考）和注册费等，但是不包括课本费用。

For each module waived through the presentation of an Orpacific Certificate of Attainment for that module, a fee reduction of USD280/= per module may be claimed.
如果学生持有相关课程的Orpacific 结业证书，并因此获得课程免修，每免修一门课程，可减免学费280美元。
