Orpacific University of Technology DOES NOT assess or certify 'life experiences' of any individual. All our qualifications are rooted in our endorsed Competency Standards, published in the information pages of each program. All assessments conducted by Orpacific are open source, evidence-based and archived in a multimedia format indefinitely, for anyone who cares to verify the authenticity of a certification by Orpacific. For an exemption of a module, you will have to provide hard evidence that you had achieved competence as measured against the competency standard linked to that module. It must also be clear from the evidence that the person demonstrating the competency was indeed you.

Our programs require you to put in an equitable amount of work, and you will have to demonstrate your competence, not just to us, but also for your prospective employers. We digitally record your progress as you go through the program. In our programs, we offer no short-cut. At the end of the program, when we certify you competent, it would only be the obvious. The process of you achieving competency, via the digital recordings will be collated into a Personal Digital Portfolio DVD, to accompany your degree scroll. No one in the world would doubt us, or you. This is the value of the Orpacific University of Technology Qualification.

In fact for anyone who has an understanding of training and assessment, it will be obvious that the competency-based assessment approach of Orpacific would require the candidate to put in a lot more effort to achieve a pass compared to a candidate doing a similar program with a traditional university.

We do not assume everyone would learn at the same pace. Our flexible learning mode is designed to train you at your pace until you are ready to demonstrate your competence. We are not in a hurry, so take your time. In competency-based certification, we control strictly the Output quality. We do not enforce strictly the entry requirement. We have enrollment guidelines for each program. We urge you to read these guidelines carefully. If you do not have the pre-requisite knowledge as stated in the guidelines, you will find going through the program difficult and may be discouraged. However, we believe everyone should be given the opportunity to excel. But once you are in it, it is YOU that have to work to demonstrate the achievement of the performance criteria as dictated in the competency standards that we published. If you find certain parts of a program too challenging for you at any point, you may suspend that module to acquire the pre-requisite knowledge in another program before continuing with the module. The time you take to achieve the competency specified in a module is not part of the requirement.
