Dr Tay Teng Tiow, BEng (Elect) (National University of Singapore), PhD (Australian National University)

Dr Tay Teng Tiow obtained the Bachelor of Engineering with first class honours from the National University of Singapore in 1985 and a PhD in System Engineering from the Australian National University in 1989. He has held positions of associate professor at the National University of Singapore, as well as adjunct associate professor at the Technical University of Eindhoven, The Netherlands. He was the program director of the Design Technological Institute where he designed the Master of Technological Design in Embedded System program. He has also inititated many technopreneurship programs.

Dr Tay is a director of SMB United Ltd, a public company in the electrical switchgear business, as well as many private companies, and is well versed in business policy and management. He is also consultant to many MNCs in the area of information system design and has conducted numerous in-house workshops for multi-nationals such as HP and Philips in the US, Europe and Asia.

Dr Tay has more than 19 years of research and teaching experience in the computer and information system, buiness systems and education areas. He has published more than 80 papers in international journals and conference proceedings in these areas.

Director, Accountancy Program
Mrs Wong Soo Leong, B.Acc (National University of Singapore), Fellow ACCA

Mrs Wong Soo Leong graduated with a Bachelor of Accountancy from the National University of Singapore in 1980 and is also a Fellow of the ACCA. She has more than 28 years of experience in the accounting and audit area. She spent many years in one of the large four as an auditing manager before moving to be the Group Auditing Director of a large public company in Singapore. Beside been an authority in the audit field, Mrs Wong has also done extensive work in systems re-engineering, business development, mergers and acquisitions. Since 2004, she moved into the educational line and taught many ACCA courses in the area of Financial Management, Management Accounting and Audit, bring her valuable practical experience to students of accounting. She is now the program director of Accounting at Orpacific University of Technology.

Miss Wong Fai Seok, ACCA, MBA(High Honors) (Oklahoma City University)

Mr Ahmad Salman, BA in Economics and Statistics, MSc in Financial Management (Gordon University), ACCA

Mr Ahmad Salman holds a BA in Economics and Statistics and a MSc in Financial Management from Gordon University, UK. He is also Certified Public Accountant, completing all the papers of ACCA in the examination of December 2003. Mr Salman is a tax consultant working in the UK since 2003. He is well versed in all taxation matters in the UK, having advised all kinds of clients in the last three years of practice. Having successfully completed all ACCA professional papers, Mr Salman understands what it takes to do well at ACCA exams and will be able to coach students to do so as well.

Ms Chan Po Jan

Ms Chen obtained the Bachelor of Economics (Accounting) from the University of Adelaide, Australia in 1988, and is a member of the Australian Society of Certified Practicing Accountants and the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Singapore. She has extensive experience both in audit where she worked for KPMG Peat Marwich for a few years engaging in external audit of public companies. She is also very experience in financial accounting, being an accountant for the International Commission on Occupational Health, an affiliation of WHO, and the Centre for Molecular Epidemiology, NUS. Throughout her career, Ms Chen is also very much involved with academic work, having taught accounting courses for the National University of Singapore, Universitas Global 21, University of Southern Australia and Ngee Ann Polytechnics.

Ms Carol Zhou

Ms Carol Zhou holds a bachelor degree in International Finance from the University of International Business and Economics (UIBE) in 2001. In the same year, she was also bestowed the “Best Graduates” award from the Beijing City Municipal. She is currently in the final stages of completing her PhD studies in Finance and Accounting in Singapore. Ms Zhou is well versed in the latest accounting standards. More importantly she understands how to do well and coach students to do well in examinations. During the last three years, she is a free lance teacher, conducting financial accounting lessons for accounting undergraduates of the National University of Singapore. She is a highly valued teacher, winning many commendations from her students.

Mr William Lee, BBA, MBA.

William Lee holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance and Marketing (Curtin University of Technology), and a MBA (University of Adelaide).
He has 25 years of management experience in global environment for Marketing and Sales Management, Customer Service, Sales Support and General Management. William had held various senior and middle management positions at Neptune Orient Lines.
He is now a marketing manager with a shipping company and is a member of the senior management team that report direct to the Managing Director and Owner of the company.  He conducts part-time lecturing for business schools offering Diploma and Degree programs in Management, Marketing and Finance. Apart from lecturing, William designs curriculum for business schools that offer diploma and degree programs.

Ms Abhinaya Sivalingam, B.Sc (NUS), GradDip (HR)

Ms Abhinaya is a full time book author and trainer, with more than 6 years' experience.

Mdm Biji Suresh, B.Sc, DipEd

Mdm Biji is a full time trainer and has more than 15 years' experience teaching subjects in the management area.
